When Grandma comes to town
We love it when family comes to visit! My mom and younger siblings came to visit yesterday. So much fun! I took very few pictures, but here are a few of us playing at the park:

Growing up
Livia is growing up so fast! Today I was thinking about all the things she can do now, and it made me both happy and sad.
-recognizes A, B, and sometimes the letter C. The other day she said, "A, B, moon!" Ü
-counts: 1, 2, (sometimes 3), 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. So apparently she has something against the number 5???
-is so excited to wear big girl underwear. Yes, we are officially starting potty training. She's still quite young, so I expect it to take a little while, but she wakes up dry almost every morning, tells me when she goes to the bathroom, and has been in such a cooperative stage that I really want to take advantage of it while I can!
-Will happily tell you that her birthday is "Ap-il telf" and that she's turning two!
-Refuses to eat in her high chair. She now eats at the table with us, no booster or anything. I have been cleaning up lots of messes, but it's really fun to sit across the table from her and "chat" during lunch.
-Knows all her colors
-Knows several shapes: circle, triangle, square, heart, star, moon
-When she wakes up in the morning she now calls out, "mommy! where are you?!" Usually I'm still in bed at this point, and I always wonder why she couldn't call out for her daddy. Ü
It's so hard to believe that not that long ago I still had to do absolutely everything for her, and now she's doing so much on her own, has her own ideas and opinions, and is learning so much every day!

Two videos
My grandparents were able to come down to have dinner with us last week. We had a wonderful time, and Livia adored her great-grandparents and great-uncle David! We feel so lucky to live so close to them right now.
Livia loves to sing, and she loves to listen to music with headphones. This video combines the two. She's listening to "Take me out to the ball game." And before you say it, I know...singing may not be a natural talent of hers...but I think it's cute anyway! (She's also talking a bit of gibberish in the middle there. I'm guessing she's not sure what the words actually are)
