Many faces of Jane

Jane is a beautiful little girl. But photogenic? I'm thinking not.

These were all taken on the same day. I did not get a single solitary good picture of this child that day.

(yeah, I know I already showed the picture above in my last post. But it's just too good)

This last one was after I let her eat a mini candy cane on the drive home. Did I ever mention she's a messy eater? She eats with her fist in her mouth half the time. How is that even convenient?

We love you, Jane!

Christmas cheer

We've been enjoying a lot of Christmas festivities around here.

Decorating sugar cookies...

Going to the Nutcracker

Writing letters to Santa...out of order...
(translation: a pretend cat, the minnie radio, and stickers)

Doing our own make-up, and thinking that eye shadow is for eyebrows...
(I know this isn't Christmas-y, but this picture cracks me up because it just makes her look so different! We can count the snowflakes we made in the back as the Christmas activity, ok?)

Picking out and decorating the Christmas tree

Looking at the Gingerbread House display in San Jose

Sitting on Santa's lap...

And let's take a closer look at Jane's face, shall we?

We've also read lots of Christmas books, listened to lots of Christmas music, done lots of Christmas shopping, and made lots of Christmas treats. Liv even helped me wrap the caramels this year.

Also, some very wonderful ladies in our ward put this video together of the nativity story. Livia was a sheep, but you can't actually see her face, so don't bother looking for her. This video made me laugh and cry, it's so sweet! I know it's better when you know the primary kids, but I still think it's worth a view.
