A sweet moment

Each week in church one child is asked to share a reason why they know Heavenly Father loves them.

Last week it was Livia's turn, and the night before I asked her what she wanted to say.

Silence.

"Let me put it this way," I began again, "Does Heavenly Father love you?"

"Yes," Livia replied.

"How do you know?"

She was quiet for a moment and I could tell she was thinking. Then her eyes lit up, "Because of the atonement!"

Yes, my child. Yes.
