Winters in California

Have I ever mentioned that I love living in California? Because I do. I don't miss the snow and cold at all.

This past weekend, for example, the weather was gorgeous. I'm talking 70 degrees, no need for even a sweater. It was fabulous, and we took advantage by spending some time outdoors.

We went on a hike in some nearby hills:

Livia didn't want to stay in the hiking backpack, and walked over a mile all on her own

We also spent an afternoon at a park, where we played with bubbles...

Basked in the sunshine...

Played on the equipment (this slide startled her at first, but soon she was giggling uncontrollably everytime she went off)

And said hello to our shadows
