Little Jane is 4 months old now, and doing all sorts of things she shouldn't be allowed to do yet--like roll over, and put her own pacifier back in, and pull Livia's hair in self-defense. How is she growing up so quickly?!
Jane is, for the most part, a happy baby. She is deliciously chubby and starting to scoot around a little on the floor. She has some good nights, some bad nights, but will always at least sleep from 8:00-1:00 a.m. in her crib in Livia's room. I love that they share a room now.
Liv loves Jane too (or, as she calls her: Janie-baby, Janie-boppy, Little-little, little one, baby-baby, and so on. There are lots of variations). She is getting SO much better at being gentle, but still forgets on occasion.
Jane's naps are still all over the place since we're always out and about and are never home long enough to establish a routine. She always takes a morning nap around 9:00 a.m., but sometimes she'll then just take one more really long 3-4 hour long nap in the afternoon, or take as many as 4 shorter naps throughout the day. I never know what to expect. I'm just glad she's flexible.
