I've been remiss in posting about Livia's birthday!
We had a fun party at the park with friends...

Her buddy Drake came down for the occasion, and we were both so happy to see him and his mom again!

Livia was particularly excited about getting to blow candles out and have people sing the happy birthday song to her. (It's her favorite song ever)

On her actual birthday Chase came home from work before she went to bed, which was amazing!

Opening presents. I may have gone a little overboard...I love watching Livvy open presents because she gets so excited about each gift and wants to play with it immediately! (or wear it, as the case may be)She got a set of table and chairs from her grandparents, which worked perfectly with the new set of dishes she got from her great-grandparents! We opened presents just before bed (hence the pjs and wet hair) and it was so difficult to get her to go to sleep that night!I promised her that we could play some more in the morning. So right after breakfast we set up a little tea party. I think she had a very happy birthday. Thank you to everyone who was so generous and helped make it a special day!

And for those of you who are interested, her weight is 25 lbs. and her height is 33 inches.

She talks a lot now. Some of my favorite things that she says are "oopies" for oopsies, "book-a-read" for book, and hearing her count to 10 or trying to recite the alphabet.

She loves to play with friends, read, and go to the park. I'd say she's sweet and good about 85% of the time, but when she's in a willful or bad mood, oh man! I forsee many battles of will in our future.
